Columbia School District Distance Learning

School is not a building; school is a series of instructional resources.  We are still having school; it will just be at your home.

As always, the Columbia School District is dedicated to providing our students with the best education possible.  In keeping with this endeavor, we will offer opportunities for distance learning for the duration of the COVID-19 school closure.  The learning objectives of the district are to review prior knowledge, incorporate new concepts as necessary, and manage our curriculum to provide the best learning environment for our students while school buildings are closed.

Our teachers will be using a variety of resources during this time.  If you have internet access, below are links to two popular video-conferencing sites that may be used during distance learning.

At select C Spire retail locations and additional pop-up locations around the state, students and parents can park their vehicle and log onto complimentary high-speed WiFi to help them work on school assignments. This provides a way for students to continue learning safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Complimentary WiFi services are available to students in the parking lot outside the Columbia retail location at 1116 Hwy 98 Bypass, Columbia, MS 39429.
